LAIOSA – Paul J., 51, of Jefferson Township, died February 4, 2010.
Born in Passaic, Mr. Laiosa was raised in Garfield where he graduated from Garfield High School in 1976. He lived in Saddle Brook for six years before moving to Jefferson Township 26 years ago where he served as a Councilman for one term. He was employed as a Director of Business Technology focusing on manufacturing technology for Pfizer Global in Pearl River, NY and Great Valley, PA.
Mr. Laiosa was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Oak Ridge and a former parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.
He was predeceased by his mother, Frances (nee Wolvenkammer) Laiosa and his brother, C. Bruce Cameron.
Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy "Pat" (nee Benard) of Jefferson Twp.; his daughter, Danielle P. Laiosa of Jefferson Twp.; his father, Paul Laiosa, Sr. of Florida and Canada; and his mother-in-law, Esther Benard.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:30 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10:00 am St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, Berkshire Valley Road, Oak Ridge. Visiting will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
