John Robert Hilla, Jr., 48, of Elmwood Park, on February 4, 2010.
Born in Passaic, Mr. Hilla was raised and had lived in Elmwood Park and Clifton for his entire life. He had been employed as a carpenter with Carpenters’ Local Union No. 15 in Hackensack.
Mr. Hilla was predeceased by his mother, Phyllis (nee Krzastek).
Survivors include: his son, Ryan A. Hilla, of Florida; his father, John R. Hilla, Sr., of Elmwood Park; his sister, Linda Dandorf and her husband, William, of Clifton; his brother, Brian Hilla, of Elmwood Park; and by his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:30 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 11:00 am at St. Paul RC Church, cor. Union Avenue and Second Street, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
