Marianna K. (nee Gorun) La Barbera, 73, of CLifton died on March 9, 2010.
Born in Passaic, Mrs. La Barbera was a lifelong resident of Clifton. Prior to retiring, she had worked in Rest Security with PNC Bank, mostly in their offices at Garret Mountain in West Paterson. She had also worked at the former Clifton Theater for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton.
Mrs. La Barbera was predeceased by her husband, Frank Peter La Barbera and by her sister, Elvira Gremsperger.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances Skurski, and her husband, Thomas, of CLifton; her grandson, Michael Skurski; and her brothers: Ronald and Robert Gorun.
Funeral services will be Friday 11:30 am at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Friday prior to service form 10:30 am-11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, masses in her memory would be appreciated.
